I am a social media strategist and German native. I enjoy following international brands and working with event planning agencies. I have experience with promoting and growing local audiences for non-profit organizations.

I worked internationally at the world’s largest producer of frozen desserts in Europe. Coppenrath & Wiese is located in Osnabruck, Germany, where my grandfather ran a small bakery, which quickly expanded. As an employee, I brainstormed packaging designs, expanded my knowledge business and marketing in a fluent German environment.

As an intern with the Democratic Party of Lane County, I developed social media campaigns on Facebook and Twitter to reach potential voters. I designed visuals to promote political campaign, maintained the DPLC’s website and posted articles to their blog about the current presidential campaign.

I interned at Ethos Magazine, an award winning student-run publication. I gained experience working with donors by increasing awareness by planning events related to feature stories. I also helped build relationships as a team leader.

I am a volunteer for Catholic Community Services of Lane County, where they offer immediate help by providing food and other assistance to anyone in need. I created a news release to promote The Squeaky Clean Hygiene event that was publically released.

I am a senior at the University of Oregon working toward a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations and a public planning policy management minor. I am expected to graduate June 2014.
