ARTIST STATEMENT:

My style reflects who I am—a macro photographer who prefers simplicity over complexity, where graceful lines and curves define a soft elegance, and where light dictates the shape and movement of an image. It can also be reflected with the post-processing tools I use to further emphasize the delicacy of my subject—whether that means taking two images and happily marrying their color and shape as a montage, taking an image rich and bold in color and stripping by desaturation, or converting to black & white using selective color.
