Cora Crecelius

University of Arizona graduate student Cora Crecelius is studying toward a master’s degree in public health, which she expects to receive from the school’s Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health in 2014. A student at the university since 2011, she originally enrolled in the James E. Rogers College of Law, where she continues to take courses. Cora Crecelius received several scholarships for law school, including a Merit Scholarship, a Richard Grant Scholarship, and the Dean’s Achievement Scholarship. She also participated in the Southern Arizona Health Law Organization and the Immigration Law Student Association.
Prior to beginning graduate school, Cora Crecelius earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of Montana, where she minored in history and French. She maintains an accomplished volunteer career. Cora Crecelius enjoys participating in and donating to charity runs and walks; in the past, she has run in the Race for the Cure and the Dash for Darfur in Tucson, Arizona, and various Relays for Life in Wyoming and Montana. In the summer of 2013, Ms. Crecelius began designing and implementing a volunteer management program for the Safford, Arizona-based elderly care organization SEACUS.
