Corban Pemberton (aka JR Lee) is a rapper-producer who’s been working on his flow for over a decade. Hailing from Invercargill, JR Lee began studying Audio Production in 2010 to fine-tune his studio engineering skills while continuing with his music. JR Lee has been steadily building his discography and has numerous collaborations and unreleased projects, his mixtape ‘S.O.N.B.F - Sick of Not Being Famous’, two of his own music videos on Youtube, and over 30 live gigs under his belt.
He is currently working on yet another mixtape while balancing the completion of his Bachelor of Audio Production. JR Lee dreams of one day reaching international recognition and collaborating with rappers he grew up listening to, but for now he’s focused on eventually making his album, and touring New Zealand to show the country what he’s got.
