Corbin Cornwell
Founder in Galveston, TX
Using his father's teachings on boating and water sports and integrating them with his academic business wisdom, Corbin Cornwell co-founded Big Tex Boat Rentals with his family. Despite adversities, the venture has marked three successful years in business, with enthusiastic preparation for the upcoming fourth season.
His academic path began at St. Anne's and Monsignor Kelly Catholic High Schools before moving to Texas State University. He earned dual degrees in Finance and Management and a minor in Economics. His university life was further enriched by active participation in the student government and multiple executive roles in the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity.
Beyond his entrepreneurial and academic endeavors, he is deeply involved in community service and philanthropic activities. He has volunteered and fundraised for numerous charities, including the Wounded Warrior Project, Bobcat Build, and Mobile Loaves & Fishes, demonstrating his commitment to serving the community.
His love for music and outdoor pursuits characterizes his personal life. Having been introduced to water sports by his father at a young age, he continues to maintain an active outdoor lifestyle and a consistent fitness regimen. His passion for music led him to co-found Lunar Events in Austin, a platform that organizes local music events.
