Cordelia is a Mexican/American musician, singer, songwriter, and producer. The Texan native draws herunique musical inspiration from Mexican Indian tribes and Native American cultures. Her love and admiration for their percussive instruments, flamboyant wardrobe, vibrant war paint, and feathered headdresses nurtured her identity as a colorful musician.
In 2011, she set out to find the perfect combination of musicians to give life to a fresh, unique new sound. She became founder of an indie-electronic rock band with Berklee College of Music students Yusuke Sato (Guitar), Rodrigo Gramitto (Guitar), Diego Diaz (Drums), Dan McCallum (Bass), Dag Hanken (Percussion/Synths), and herself (vocals, tambourine, and synths/keyboard). Six members from Mexico, Japan, Norway, Alaska, and Venezuela conceived the soul of an indie-rock-electronic breed of sound, and the Buffalo was born.
