I’m a Sydney based geek, ice hockey player, make-up artist and trouble maker.
This little blog is mainly about make-up artistry, design and the practical application of it.
I grew up in Canberra and was raised by a single mother, and it was in our government housing apartment that I began my obsession with the face.
When I returned from a short international ice hockey career I began to study special effects make-up and prosthetics which lead me into the greater make-up world.
The wonderful thing about exploring make-up was seeing it from a man’s perspective and the experience was eye opening.
I avoid the fashion world and tend not to subscribe to brands, rather, I prefer to treat the face as an expression of one’s individualism or as a way to convey a message/story.
I will attempt on this blog to show you my perspective and offer up any tips and gladly answer any questions that you may want to ask a guy’s guy who just happens to be a make-up artist.
