Corey Brown

Born just after the last ice age on the island of Bermuda. Spent time globe trotting with Mom and Dad during my younger years. Got to visit exotic places like Iceland, Germany, England, Ireland, Scotland, Singapore, Japan, Russia and some other interesting places like Denver, Orlando, New Brunswick NJ and finally Atlanta.

Married Debbie Harke in 1985 and we have two boys, Mitch and Jake. Mitch graduated from Georgia Tech (go Jackets) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is currently working for the Southern Company in Birmingham Alabama. Jake is currently attending my Alma mater Georgia State University (go Panthers). Jake has a few years left to go and is currently interested in pursuing a degree in business.

I've always been interested in hotrods and motorcycles. My brother introduced me to the world of hotrods back in the late 60s and early 70s (yep, that old). Was lucky enough to experience the power of a 1963 split window coupe Corvette driven by somebody who really knew how to drive it. I've still got a 1968 Corvette 427/435 4-speed sitting in my garage and played around with a Camaro dragster back in our days before children. Definitely enjoy riding motorcycles and have done several long distance trips.

Professionally I am a software engineer and have designed systems for AT&T, Ericsson, Clearleap, and several other companies. Currently I'm a director of engineering with Clearleap and spend my day herding cats, solving production problems and adding new features and functionality to Clearleap's core content management platform.

Debbie and I enjoy spending time at home and exploring new restaurants in the Atlanta area. We also enjoy spending time in Asheville and surrounding areas.
