Corey Crownhart is the Grant & Program Development Manager with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington State. Committed to making his community a thriving place for youth, he has consistently dedicated himself to causes closest to his heart. With the Boys & Girls Clubs, Corey supports various youth development programs and corporate partnerships to tackle wealth disparities, systemics and generational trauma, as well as the overall challenges faced by at-risk youth today.

Corey has experience overseeing day-to-day program operations in after-school settings, facilitation and public speaking on community connection and youth development topics, and administrative experience regarding facility management, staff development, and budgeting. He has helped create meaningful and positive connections among youth and strives to support the development of professionals dedicated to youth empowerment.

Always seeking the latest innovation, Corey has a deep hunger for knowledge. He can be just as easily be found traveling a foreign city as learning code on his back porch. He enjoys experiencing new things and constantly seeks out the latest music, art, or performances in his community. Whether engaging as an activist or energizing local community groups, he consistently brings a level of authenticity and spirit only matched by his true desire of empowerment.

Corey has over 10 years of small and large group facilitation experience in the nonprofit sector. Starting as an outdoor adventure guide and onward to experiential learning facilitation, he has instilled positive character with each group he leads. Corey earned his Bachelors of Science, Political Science from Boise State University and his Masters of Science, Management and Leadership from Western Governors Association.

Corey resides in beautiful Spokane, Washington with his supportive partner, Heather, and his wonderful daughter, Eleanor.
