Corey Densmore

I've always been sort of an entrepreneurial type. I essentially taught myself how to golf when I was 9, started my own golf league at 12 for me and my friends on Fridays after school, held a paper route for nearly 4 years earning 3 Carrier of the Year nominations.

My adult life didn't change that philosophy much: I co-founded a radio show with two friends in 2006 which blossomed into a concert promotions and booking habit that goes by DITR Promotions which I've used to put on well over 150 concerts since 2007. In 2008, I formed a music festival called Midwest Fest which will have it's fifth incarnation this September 25-29 in Mount Pleasant, MI.

I play music in a band called Wavvy Hands as well. I play synth and I've recently added an organ to my repetoire as well. I'd like to learn to play guitar and banjo soon though. And if you've got an accordion that's not getting any use, you let me know.

Michigan is home, always has been. If I leave this "pleasant peninsula" for new residence in my life, it will likely be in my next favorite place: Chicago, IL.
