My love for music began when I was very young. I started playing the snare drum at age 10 in Bronson, Michigan where I was born. I continued to play through my college years at Grand Valley State University, and decided to follow my dreams of becoming a professional musician. My then current band and I packed up a moving truck and moved across the country to California, like so many other music hopefuls. A year later, the rest of my bandmates had decided to stop pursuing their dream. I was determined, and jumped into the Orange County music scene. Throughout the next 5 years I performed and recorded with many bands and progressed to touring with Firescape, signed to Columbia Records. Now, as a partner in The Music Factory, my goals have expanded to helping other young musicians reach for their dreams, while still persuing new musical experiences and adventures, myself.
