Originally from Miami, Cori Capik studied environmental engineering before taking a sharp pedagogical turn, earning her B.A. in socio-cultural anthropology from Columbia University. Writing her undergraduate thesis about fingernail decoration, an enterprise story profiling key lime pie, and now her master’s project about technology in bird watching, Cori seeks stories that are found in places often overlooked.
