I understand that when some people think outside of the box, they sometime get stuck in the circle of "what to do next?" I am a math & science teacher who was inspired into EdTech when my mother retired after 40 years of teaching, citing she didn't want to learn anymore about a computer.

I served as the first Technology Coordinator in a Beaumont ISD title 1 middle school, helping to lead the implementation of a 1:1 iPad & SMARTboard integration program with over 600 students. In 2014, I relocated to the heart of Texas to join the EdTech Administrative team in Georgetown ISD.

I have presented at some of the top educational conferences in the US including, FETC, ISTE, TCEA and iPadpalooza. I am a BYOD planning chair for the upcoming ISTE conference in San Antonio (2017). I love everything technology, but my special interests are gaming, Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), S.T.E.A.M., and EdCamps.

I am a proud double alumna of Lamar University, where I earned my Master of Technology Leadership degree. I am an officer in TCEA's TEC-SIG, and I hope to begin my doctoral studies in the Fall of 2016.
