A dream of mine has always been to visit the U.S. and here I am in Chicago, IL. Originally from the UK, I am now living with the Kulovitz family and will hopefully be staying with them for two years as their au pair. They have made me feel very settled and comfortable here and welcomed me warmly into their family. They are by far the craziest people I've ever met and there is never a dull day in this house.

But this adventure provides me with so much more; It is an opportunity to travel and see places I've only dreamed of visiting, study, meet new people and make a life for myself within a vastly different culture from my own.

The blog for me is a way of capturing my experiences. Every photo taken is with the intention to capture the feelings of that present moment, and in doing so preserve that feeling forever.

For my family and friends it's and insight into my life here, the culture and the adventures I'll venture into.

For other au pairs, travelers or onlookers it's a journey I hope will inspire you to step out of your comfort zone and do something you've always wanted to do.
