I grew up in Orange County, CA and I followed my dreams of becoming a teacher to University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. There, I graduated with honors with a degree in Diversified Education and a Concentration in Human Development. I was also awarded the Outstanding Multiple Subject Credential Graduate Award by the School of Education. I'm currently in the middle of pursuing my Master's in Educational Technology - something that I am extremely passionate about!.

I moved to the Bay Area in August 2013, and taught for 3 years in Daly City. I recently relocated with my fiancee to start our life in the East Bay. This is my first year at Anna Yates, and I couldn't be more excited to be teaching 5th grade! Teaching has always been my passion, and I love to help my students reach their fullest potential.

Outside of the classroom, I have a travel bug and try to escape somewhere new whenever I can. I love to stay active with spin and yoga classes. I also enjoy exploring local farmer's markets, spending time with friends and family, cooking/trying new foods, and curling up with a good book and hot cup of tea!
