Corinne White

Founder Corinne White and designer Desi Morffe have joined together to launch the Local Honey swimwear line. Local Honey finds its inspiration from Mother Nature and active lifestyles. Quality, fit and durability are key components in the line, brought together with a touch of feminity.

Corinne White, a native of Northern California, had considerable success in the banking and finance industry but had always dreamed of starting her own business. She decided to return to school to obtain an MBA; while in school she met Desi in Costa Rica.

Corinne took the concept of the brand Local Honey and used it as a school project, and it has grown steadily since then. As a lover of the ocean as well as yoga, surfing, body boarding, and stand-up paddle yoga, it was only natural that Local Honey would grow to become a bikini line.

Desi Morffe is a local designer from Playa Hermosa in Puntarenas, Costa Rica. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Desi has been one of the up and coming designers in the surfing industry for years. Being an avid surfer herself, her designs are comfortable, supportive and stay on in the water.

Local Honey is a collaboration by women who are doing what they love. This involves fostering creativity, lending a helping hand to others, and supporting local artists at work in their communities.

"Corinne and Desi met in Costa Rica on a beautiful tropical afternoon. Desi, a bikini designer and Corinne, an entrepreneur, decided to bring Desi's designs to life under the Local Honey brand. Together they poured all their love (Local Honey) into the designs to make their dream a reality. Their creations are made for water women and adventurers to enjoy!

Local Honey is proud to bring the most comfortable and functional swimwear available to you, and best of all, they're reversible! From California and Costa Rica with love - Corinne and Desi."
