Cori Sue Morris is the co-founder of Bitches Who Brunch, the D.C.-based website that covers brunch, fashion and lifestyle to more than 50,000 monthly readers that’s currently expanding to New York.

A high-energy, self-motivated, and driven natural-born communicator, Cori Sue's expertise lies in strategic communications, branding, media outreach, writing, editing, marketing, public affairs, and social media.

She’s passionate about clean energy, sustainability, creative problem solving, social media, foreign policy, international travel, fashion, running, and, of course, brunch.

By day, Cori Sue is a communications specialist and Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, where she works on strategic communications, media outreach for commercialization and deployment of clean energy technologies, and oversees the development of the Office’s corporate brand.

Her previous employment includes stints as the communications manager at an international social compliance non-profit, the lead on the Coast Guard’s Deepwater Horizon report, as well as time at at National Geographic News, The Raleigh News & Observer, and UNC Global.

Cori Sue earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with dual majors in journalism and history and a minor in Spanish. She received her master's degree in international affairs, focusing from the George Washington University Elliott School of International Affairs in May 2012. She is a Presidential Management Fellow, a Boston marathon runner and an active philanthropist.
