Cornelius Okumu

Based in Lincoln, Nebraska, Cornelius Okumu is currently working toward his master’s degree in community and regional planning with a minor in statistics at the University of Nebraska. He holds a 3.5 GPA and graduated in December of 2014. In addition to pursuing graduate education, Cornelius Okumu works as an intern planner for the Nebraska Economic Development Department-Lincoln. His responsibilities include conducting and analyzing research from a variety of sources. Cornelius Okumu earned a bachelor of science in computer information systems from Bellevue University. While working on his undergraduate degree, he held membership with the University African American Association and provided mathematics tutoring to other students. His coursework for his bachelor’s degree required him to learn statistical software, such as SAS, as well as database software, such as SQL.
