Sabelo Letswalo

I’m Sabelo Letswalo, a student teacher at the University of Johannesburg. I’m also a self-learned painter & grew up interested in construction work and still work part-time in Mashishing & currently residing in Johannesburg for my studies. I am a fan of education, reading, and creative writing. I’m also interested in music and soccer. I devote my Saturdays to tutoring high school learners across all grades through Katleho Institute.

I am adaptable and flexible in what I do. My motto when I engage in something is that I 'Adapt, Improve & then Overcome'. My life philosophy does not exist as I am open to anything that can grow me, but if it does not, I will develop it. To me, a challenge is not being able to accomplish what I set out to do, not doing the task.

Working as a part-time painter, mainly during festive times, I am able to work with a minimum of 2 people and expose them to trade to gain skills and financial independence. It's true when they say "a teacher's work is never done" & that "every environment can be a classroom for teaching and learning"
