Hey there! My name is Cornelius Treleon Sublette and I am currently attending The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). My gender pronouns include he/him/his. Cureently I am a nursing major and I am hoping to graduate within two years.
I am originally from Houston, Texas where I lived with 4 of my 8 siblings and my parents. I graduated from Harmony School of Advancement, a public charter school. Even though I was supposed to transfer to another university, I decided to stay here because I fell into the groove of things here in the valley and I really enjoy the Vaquero spirit here on campus.
UTRGV has giving me many enriching opportunities. Since I have been here, I have been a Resident Assistant (RA) for Residence Life, a Peer Educator for the HIV/STI and Substance Abuse Prevention Program, a Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader, and now a Student Mentor for the Office of Student Involvement.
My hobbies include spending a ridiculous amount of time on Tumblr, playing video games with friends, taking part in social and political conversations regarding queer people and persons of color (poc), going out to the movies, and working out at the gym.
