Cortlin Sawyer

Evansville, Indiana, United States

I grew up in the very small town of Marysville, Indiana. I attended New Washington Elementary, Middle, and High School and graduated with an honors diploma. Four days after my graduation I attended the Lexington School for Recording Arts to learn the trade of audio recording. I left the school 8 weeks later certified as an Audio Recording Engineer.

Shortly after, I began my 4 years at the University of Southern Indiana to earn a Bachelors of Science in Computer Informations Systems. While I was attending USI, I worked in the IT department as a Computer Technician. During my final semester I started an internship as a web development intern at Kitch & Schreiber Advertising. After what felt like a lifetime, I earned my degree and was fortunate enough to receive an offer from K&S as a full time Web Developer.

I still play a little music in my free time, but not nearly as much as I thought I would 4 years ago. My passion has switched from audio recording to web and graphic design, so I spend a lot of time browsing the web learning current web design trends, as well as criticizing logos and packaging while grocery shopping (I will literally buy a product if I think the packaging looks good. My Wife hates it.). I also enjoy photography and PC gaming in my free time.

If you are interested in a new website, or just want to talk, send me a message on any social media site (an email or phone call works too).
