Cory Wilson

Seattle, WA

Cory Wilson is a Seattle based filmmaker. He loves to have his hands on the camera and enjoys editing as well as sound recording.

Cory started doing theatre in junior high, then discovered the joys of video productions and stagecraft in high school. He learned that he liked to be behind the scenes quite a bit.

Studying for an AAS degree at Seattle Central Community College, Cory learned many things about how to make great movies, including producing, directing, writing, shooting, and editing.

Cory has experience on narrative, documentary, short, and feature films.

In his spare time, Cory enjoys taking film pictures and being in the woods (these two things can go together!). He enjoys reading science fiction and is inspired by the films of Stanley Kubrick.

Cory is dedicated and hardworking and would love to make you his next happy client!

Currently, Cory is editing a short documentary about an adventurous group of 6 people in 3 boats rowing to Canada as a fundraiser for ALS. He is also editing a couple short narrative films, and recording foley for another.
