Joanna Ellis

Sometimes I catch myself saying things like, "I'm just a mom", or things that seem to belittle what I am doing in my life right now. But then I realize that I am living the life I dreamed of when I was a little girl! I used to sing the sweet Primary song about how "when I grow up I want to be a mother and have a family....and make them cookies and bring them yellow balloons!" That's me, that's my life right now!

I am also blessed to live in a time where I can turn to the gospel for answers and reassurance for my life. I feel tremendously blessed to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My interactions with the gospel have made me who I am, and have given me hope for who I hope to be one day.
