Cory Porter

Cory was born and raised in Saint John, New Brunswick - Canada. He received his diploma in Business (Marketing) from the New Brunswick Community College - Saint John campus in 2000.
Realizing that white-collar opportunities were limited in the blue-collar port city, Cory moved to Ottawa in 2001 to begin his career in the Federal Public Service with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
During his CRA career in Ottawa, he has worked in both regional and headquarters areas of the agency in a variety of leadership roles. Cory was accepted into the Middle Management Development Program (MMDP) in 2010 and graduated from the program in 2014.
Cory is a millennial (barely) and is currently the Manager of the National Managers Initiative at CRA.

He resides outside of Ottawa, Ontario with his wife, two young children and Grissom - the family dog. He enjoys spending time with his family, kayaking, camping and cheering for the Ottawa Senators!
