Seventeen years ago I was in a car accident. I ruptured my spleen, punctured a lung, broke my hip, pelvis, right arm, both legs and my neck (as a result, my spine was severed at the C5-C6 vertabrae). Since have movements and feelings below my level of injury I am considered an incomplete quadriplegic. I consider myself lucky and blessed to have survived such a horrific accident. Not a day goes by where I don't wish I could go back and relive my life.

Life not that easy, its filled with challenges and hard aches, that's what makes us who we are, with out them were would we be, and what would we strive for. My injuries have made me a better person. I am able to appreciate and enjoy the little things life has to offer. It reminds me to never take them for granted because eveything you have can be gone in the blink of an eye.

Life up to this point has truly been a journey. On the road of life you can't get off the exit ramp when the going gets rough. You will experience some bumps and road blocks. Sometimes we choose the wrong road and end up making a u-turn but that's just a process of life. If I don't try how can I expect to achieve anything. Life is what you make, you have to enjoy it to the fullest, treasure every moment. Remembering that time waits for no one.
