Cory Ryan Burnell is the Chief Investment Officer of BluePrint Investments and Tax Planning. After graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelors degree in Economics and Mathematics in 1999, Cory went on to step into his first role as financial advisor directly out of college. He later went on to University of Texas at Tyler, where he graduated with his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in 2004. Cory’s interest in finance, as well as his hopes of preparing himself to better assist clients in achieving their financial goals spurred him to advance his education even further. In 2011, Cory earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. This CFA designation, a rare qualification among financial advisers, makes Cory among only 116 CFA Charterholders in California who work with individual investors.
Cory Ryan Burnell’s CFA designation is an institutional level management and investment analyst designation, which has allowed him to hone his speciality in investment selection and portfolio management. In conjunction with this designation, Cory is also a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Sacramento. Aside from this involvement, Cory also serves as an investment adviser representative, and holds his California Life and Health Insurance license.
Just as he is passionate about assisting his clients, Cory Ryan Burnell takes pride in remaining actively involved in his community. Cory uses his financial expertise to give back to the public through volunteering on the advisory committee of the Calaveras County Taxpayers Association.
When Cory Ryan Burnell is not actively engaging with the financial investment sphere, he can be found pursuing some of his other interests, which include golf, traveling, and reading.
