I am interested in the potential of the blockchain to create transparent and fluid democracies. I am currently part of a group, Consensus Systems (ConsenSys), that builds decentralized applications on the Ethereum blockchain.
I studied Cultural Anthropology and Visual and Media Studies at duke where I focused on the relationship to religion and spirituality of students. I previously worked with a group of data artists at the Office for Creative Research, where they are crafting new forms of active digital protests. I was also part of a think tank, Center for Planetary Cutlure, where we developed a wiki that crowdsourced viable models for a societal shift in face of climate change.
I grew up in the Piedmont foothills of NC, and I am a yoga therapy student and teacher.
