Hi, I'm Som, a rescued Pomeranian from an organization called Korean Paws Rescue. I used to live in the streets of Korea (most likely has been thrown away by previous owner), but I was rescued! I lived with my amazing foster family! I had two sisters, and a mom and dad! Later, I was adopted by a family in the U.S! I was so excited! I took a 13 hour flight from Korea to the John F. Kennedy Airport. My family picked me up, and drove me to my home. I was curious and frightened at first. I didn't eat, play, or bark at all. I stayed in my kennel/crate for weeks all by myself, sleeping. My sister talked to me all day, although I had no idea what she was talking about. She made me feel better, and I started to adjust. We took long walks in the quiet neighborhood, to the loud and busy streets of New York City! I explored and played with my new family!
