Hi, I am Courtlynd Marks and I am a film student from Brisbane, Australia. My passion and ultimate dream in life is to become a successful cinematographer, editor or director, somewhere in the film industry. My greatest aspiration definitely lies with cinematographer, being able to take control of a camera and angle it in so many different ways is just mesmerising. Wherever life's journey may lead me, I wish to leave my impact on the world through creating motion picture films.

My interest in film sparked after a few weeks in Media Class Year 8 when my teacher told me I had a talent for film. I took her words and made it my aspiration, I mean if you're good at something and you love doing it why not pursue it?I have had experience with cameras for years, beginning around High School where I learnt how to use a DSLR. Throughout High School I got the opportunity to use cameras more often and I even self taught myself Adobe Premier Pro.

Now with my study at SAE Institute, it has given me opportunity to finally be with people with the same dreams and desires as myself. This is beginning to build and motivate me more and more each day.

Anyone can pick up a camera and create something great... I want to create something brilliant.
