I am currently a PhD student at Annenberg (Communication) at the University of Southern California. However, I am very proud to yell "Hook 'em!" at any opportune moment as a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, with an undergraduate degree in Broadcast Journalism (2008) and a MA in Journalism (2013).

Before that, I worked for ESPN (3.5 years) in Bristol, Connecticut (3 winters) and Longhorn Network (1.5 years) in Austin, TX (too much BBQ, Mexican food and Amy's ice cream to count). I have worked on both the studio and event production side, from humble beginnings in a trailer behind a building to a brand new facility, control room and remote truck launching a new network. Started from the bottom and such.

My previous positions include: Project-based Production Assistant (Event Production, ESPN), Stage Manager (Studio Directing, ESPN), Associate Director (Studio Directing, Longhorn Network)

I've also written for Fansided and BroJackson, and worked as a freelance producer for NPR affiliate KPCC in Pasadena
