Before I discovered words or art, I was a dreamer. Then at age 3, I learned that, with a little paint, paper and a No. 2 pencil, I could become Mrs. Geppetto. I've been a writer and an artist ever since. As a trained freelance journalist, I have contributed to Atlanta Tribune: The Magazine and Georgia State University's award-winning student paper, The Signal. In 2013 I founded the blog Natruly Courtney, a personal lifestyle journal that focuses on natural hair, health and personal development.
