I am a recent Elon University graduate who holds a BA in Strategic Communications with a minor in Professional Sales. In my free time I enjoy running marathons and I completed my first half marathon last November in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I have a passion for marketing and graphic design and I love to use my creative talents. I am very visual and also enjoy drawing in my sketch book. In addition I am a proud member of the sorority Zeta Tau Alpha where I served on the Executive Council as PR Chair for three years. Through my position I was able to run all of our social media accounts, plan/execute all of our social and philanthropic events on and off campus including promoting and advertising said events (in addition to recruiting teams in which I delegate and train members to help me better execute my responsibilities.) Spring semester of my senior year I helped my sorority raise over $2,000 for Breast Cancer Awareness and Education. I am also a Writer for an online blog called HerCampus that covers a variety of topics including fashion, health, beauty, fitness, food, pop culture, and local happenings. I love trying new restaurants and staying in shape so my articles often cover food and fitness. I am a huge basketball and football fan. My grandpa was a professional football player for the San Diego Chargers. My two favorite teams are the NY Knicks and the NY Giants. I was lucky to attend Superbowl XLVI and cried as I witnessed the 88-yard drive that put NY ahead when Ahmad Bradshaw scored the winning touchdown. I have always been interested in sports, my intramural softball team won the championship this year going undefeated in the fall regular season. In high school I was a four year varsity letter holder for Cheerleading, Basketball, and Softball in addition to being named senior captain of my softball team. Last summer (2015) I interned for the New York Liberty at Madison Square Garden in the marketing department which was a dream come true. I was able to design merchandise sold in house in addition to running and planning multiple events as well as helping execute and create multiple ad campaigns for the NY Knicks and Liberty. I was also lucky to be able to work in a variety of departments during my time at the Garden including guest relations, group sales, event and community relations, and graphic design. I am an extremely outgoing, fast paced, determined, and competitive individual who loves to be challenged and meet new people.
