Professional:
I currently work as a game designer and user researcher for escape games, and am working towards game and UX design for VR and AR.
Academic:
- I studied psychology at Ryerson, and completed a thesis there showing physical features of players' avatars in an MMORPG influenced their ability to elicit help from other players, replicating findings in real life social psychology experiments in the 1970s.
- As an assistant for the Rotman Research Institute at Baycrest Hospital (where they are developing a virtual brain btw) I analyzed data regarding adolescents' perception of the human body and presented findings at Human Brain Mapping Conference.
- Interested in the posited link between cannabis and schizophrenia, I completed a Master's degree in neuropsychology at the University of Toronto, showing the group of adolescents who had consumed the largest cumulative amount of cannabis before the age of 16 presented with thinner cortical gray matter by the age of 21.
