Courtney Gailey

Hey y'all! I'm Courtney, a freshman at UGA, and most recently became a pledge of the Pi Beta Phi sorority!

I'm graduated from Banks County High School, home of the Leopards! But I'm from a very small town in the middle of nowhere known as Canon, GA that's nickname is "Big Gun." I'm currently a Biological Sciences major with a Pre-Pharmacy intent! I really want to become a Pharmacist and open my very own pharmacy one day!

While in high school, I was a varsity football & basketball cheerleader all 4 years! I'm a very spirited individual which is why I cannot wait until football season starts so I can cheer on my DAWGS in Sanford Stadium! I'm a HUGE dawg fan, have been since I was born. I was also a member of this amazing youth organization known as Georgia 4-H! Don't know what 4-H is? Check it out one day, I can promise you you'll fall in love and won't regret it! Also in high school, I showed pigs! "You showed pigs? What?!" That's the response I usually get from people, but I loved showing pigs! It was such a fun experience. I was also on the Yearbook Staff and my senior year I was voted as Yearbook Editor! I tried to be as involved as I possibly could while in high school, which was why I was voted as "Most Involved" by my classmates! I also graduated as the First Honorarian of my graduating class, which means I was ranked #3!

I've been out of the country twice! I went to Italy my Junior Year of High School and France my Senior Year! Italy was my favorite but I am obsessed with the Eiffel Tower which explains my background picture that I actually took...maybe a little bit too obsessed, but oh well! I love to travel and I have a life of different countries and places I plan to visit one day!

Enough about high school, more about me. I'm a very outgoing, fun person and I love to meet new people! My absolute favorite color is PINK! My favorite movie of all time is How the Grinch Stole Christmas; I can quote the whole movie and will watch it year round, even if it is a Christmas movie. Speaking of Christmas, it's my favorite holiday! I got my very first job this summer selling KNIVES! A lot of people think it's weird that I sell knives but I abslutely love it and I wouldn't want to do anything else...plus my paychecks are pretty beautiful each week :)

Also, my birthday is January 6 and I will gladly accept presents, hehe :)
