Courtney Diener-Stokes is an award-winning journalist, author, food writer, photographer and food stylist. Most recently she co-authored the Kimberton Whole Foods Cookbook: A Family History with Recipes and Farmhouse Manna: Nourishing Recipes and Rituals for Head, Heart, Hands & Soul.

Courtney’s work appears in Copper in the Artsmagazine, Cordellamagazine, the Reading Eaglenewspaper, the Pottstown Mercury, The Daily Local, and other MediaNews Group publications. Five years ago she co-founded Hickory Grove Publishing & Content Development based in Kimberton, Pennsylvania.

Courtney returned to live in her hometown of Oley, Pennsylvania after spending over a decade working in New York City in film and television as a producer at ABC TV Network and MTV Networks. She was a producer for ABC News “Good Morning America"where she worked on several major news stories, including coverage of the 9/11 World Trade Center Attack, for which she received an Alfred I. DuPont-Columbia Award, a George Foster Peabody Award and recognition from The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

Prior to Good Morning America, Courtney worked at MTV Networks producing and developing daily programming, documentaries and specials. She has also worked as a field producer with Extra and the TV Guide Channel. In addition, she has appeared as an arts & culture on-air contributor for LX TV, the broadband TV network and website owned by NBC Universal.

Courtney is a graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York City and Paris. She lives in the Oley Valley countryside of Pennsylvania with her husband and three children.
