Hi! I'm Courtney. "Chocolate and thoroughness" is a nod to my alma mater, motto: knowledge and thoroughness. A hundred points if you know where that is! All day at work (which I am lucky enough to love) they let me be a scientist. Then I come home and trade my labcoat for an apron (polka dot, if you must know). Truth: on nights I don't cook, I think cookie dough and wine make a respectable dinner for one (just kidding, mom). If I'm bringing "a dish" to you're party, I'm bringing two. And I'll be unfashionably on time. I can't help it. I love trying new things in the kitchen and I think the best part of being an adult is happy hour (in college no one partied at 5pm. Missing. out.)
