Hello, and welcome to my About.me page! My name is Courtney Swarm and I am from Indianapolis, IN. Born and raised in the Midwest and proud of it! I am a recent graduate from the Full Sail University Music Business Bachelors program and graduated Salutatorian. I recently moved to St. Paul, Minnesota and am happy to still be in the Midwest.

My professional focus lies in event planning and marketing, but more specifically public relations and social media. After years of fighting with myself in regards to what my career was going to be, I decided to follow my dreams, which led me to Orlando, FL. While living in Orlando, I participated in many industry events including Florida Music Festival where I was an assistant stage manager. I was an intern at Incognitus, an event planning company located in downtown Orlando. I worked regularly with VIP Nation in running meet and greets with artists such as Bush, The Beach Boys, One Direction, and Big Time Rush. I was also the President of the Full Sail MEISA Chapter (Music and Entertainment Industry Student Association) and put on a monthly open mic night at Full Sail. It could be my extreme organization skills or simply my love for marketing, but nothing gets me jazzed quite like an elegant and clever marketing campaign.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy camping, going on walks with my 2 dogs Kade and Lucas, sewing, hiking, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. I am a television junkie who loves shows such as Dexter, The Walking Dead, 30 Rock, Greys Anatomy, Parks and Recreation, and many more. Fall will forever be my favorite season and green is my favorite color. I think this has to do with my love for the outdoors. I’m just a Midwest girl who is determined to spend her life doing nothing but what she loves. Life is too short to do otherwise.
