I’m Courtney Zemke, my family calls me Peanut. I’m a twenty-something girl with small town roots and big city dreams. Happiness drives my every decision. This blog is dedicated to everything that makes me happy.

So what is that?

I’m an overachiever who says “yes” too often. I am ambitious, articulate and more opinionated than I should be. I am an overspending millennial. I have coffee running through my veins. I’m a rum-raisin lipstick addict in the winter, and a creme-siren lipstick addict in the summer. I’m a daughter, sister, dancer, teacher and friend.

You’ll find me rooting for Detroit everyday but Sunday. Sundays I wave my terrible towel and wear black and yellow. My interests lie in writing, reading, creating, baking and breaking a sweat.

I am all of these things and more. Above all, I am a young public relations professional. My goal here is to connect my readers with inspiration, motivation and career advice.
