Courtni Berry

Courtni is a fourth year student at the University of Mayland, College Park. She is pursuing a B.A. in Public Relations and a minor in Leadership Studies. During her pastime she enjoys writing, editing, reading, drumming, skateboarding, running, meeting new people and ultimately thinking creatively. She has taken a news writing for public relations class this past summer which allowed her to become familiar with writing press releases and news stories (feature leads and hard news).

Her current position is with the Washington Redskins as a Marketing Intern. She has had the privilege to create a marketing plan with her colleagues and was able present it to their supervisor. In the past, she has utilized her marketing and public relations skills with small businesses to help the businesses gain more publicity and to increase their clientele. She hopes to obtain a public relations internship during the FALL 2012 semester. She enjoys being challenged and enjoys thinking strategically.
