Louis-Philippe Couture
Montréal, QC
Louis-Philippe, selected in the 2013 cohort of The Next 36 for a tech startup oriented toward education and music, has always had a passion for coding. He started writing code at the age of 10 and hasn’t stopped since. Currently, he is a student in 3D animation and special effects at CentreNAD. He has a strong background in computer engineering acquired while studying at l’École Polytechnique de Montréal. There, Louis-Philippe discovered his passion for robotics; a passion that led him and his team to win an award at a robotic competition in 2010.
Louis-Philippe has also always been very business-minded, transforming his many ideas into projects. One of his main business accomplishments to date would be his success with an importation and distribution company specialized in dental clinics, a venture he started in 2011. In his spare time, Louis-Philippe enjoys skiing, tennis, scuba-diving and playing piano.
