Ashwin Rao

I am a Computer Scientist turned Algebraist turned Wall Street Quant turned Tech Entrepreneur. During this journey, I passed through an "over-hyped school" in suburban Bombay, a "fake city" in California, a "useless Ph.D." in Algorithmic Algebra, an "evil empire" in downtown New York, and "corner office management" at a large firm. My journey has been interesting and fulfilling because I discovered that the quoted cliches about these places were all patently false. I remain in close touch with each of these places.

I am now parked in Palo Alto developing a tech startup - working harder than ever but also having more fun than ever before. We are hiring!
