Caleb Cover

Currently nearing completion of the highly intensive 15 month Video Game Production Program that meets five hours a day, five days a week at The Digital Animation & Visual Effects School(The DAVE School). I operate the 3D printing lab and educate students in the use of 3D printers. I am proficient in Modo, Maya, Zbrush, Unity 4, Unreal 4, Photoshop, and many other tools used in the creation of digital content.

Being a firm believer in Open Hardware and Software has led to merging the ideals of the open philosophy in the day-to-day. In short: being a geek, athlete, gear-head, artist, maker, and entrepreneur has inspired a life of learning and growth at each opportunity.

Experience gained from managing the largest RepRap 3D printer cluster for Aleph Objects Inc enables my confidence to spread this tech as the 3D Printing Coordinator for The DAVE School. My background includes operating a warehouse full of 3D printers, instructing educators and students alike in the software and hardware pipelines needed to use modern consumer level 3D printers, instruction and practice of Tae Kwon Do for four years+ under a two-time Olympian competitor, training under and working with performance European automotive professionals building track cars, experience with commercial construction and renovation, and growing up with a computer mouse in-hand.
