Jason Covey
Jason Covey currently serves as Executive Director, Business Development for Midnight Oil Creative, a leading marketing agency based in Burbank, CA. In this role, Jason is responsible for building out the company’s relationships with brands in new industries and bringing forth new strategies for companies in various stages of brand development.
Since 2003, MOC has been entrusted with the launches of multi-million dollar entertainment brands in the theatrical, home entertainment and video game spaces. The company’s involvement includes both offline and online marketing efforts in the areas of packaging, keyart, and retail, as well as websites, online banner campaigns, and social media.
Previously, Jason served as Director of Business Development and Director of Global Marketing for Brash Entertainment, where he drove overall new business strategic planning and execution and created the corporate marketing strategy for the start up video game publisher. While Director of Mobile Business Operations for Fox Interactive Media, Jason led the North American Fox Mobile business operations, including the business units of MySpace, IGN, AskMen, Rotten Tomatoes, MyFOX Local News, and Fox Sports. Earlier in his career Jason held Director of Product Marketing and Global Brand Manager positions at THQ, and served as Associate Brand Manager at Vivendi Universal Games.
