Cristina's research focuses on Universal Design and technology for social justice. At the moment, she is researching risks and vulnerabilities of Internet of Things devices in the context of the household. The core of her project focuses on privacy and security from the users' perspective. Her research interests include political participation, inclusive education, social innovation, participatory design, assistive technology, and cooperative learning.
She is currently a Ph.D Candidate at the Department of Computer Science at Oslo Metropolitan University (OsloMet) and an International Research Fellow at the Department of Education at Roma Tre University. She also serves as a member of the board for the VisualFest Contest in Rome and is member of the Secretariat for the postgraduate course Storytelling: teorie e contesti delle narrazioni at Roma Tre University.
