C.P. Broussard

An experienced systems analyst and information technology professional, C.P. Broussard serves as Vice President and Chief Information Officer of S & B Engineers & Constructors, Ltd., in Houston, Texas. Mr. Broussard built the company's IT department from the ground up, prioritizing user requests, approving purchases, managing staff, and researching new technologies. He has shaped the IT strategy of the company since 1981.

Mr. Broussard earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Louisiana State University at Lafayette. He also studied extensively at the University of Houston, where he belonged to the Association of Systems Managers.

C.P. Broussard began his professional career as a Tech Specialist with Lockheed Martin in Houston, Texas, in 1971. One year later, he accepted a position as a Systems and Programming Manager at Hughes Tool in Houston, Texas, where he worked until 1981. During his time with Hughes Tool, Mr. Broussard supervised the daily work of as many as sixty programmers and analysts.

Mr. Broussard has dedicated himself to supporting the Houston community through volunteer work, including service as a Volunteer Coach for OFA Little League Baseball and St. Thomas High School, where he coached for seventeen years. C.P. Broussard is a lifelong member and supporter of the Fallen Officers memorial charity. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting with his dog, fishing, and four-wheeling.
