Courtney Preo

The basic introduction- My name is Courtney Preo, a 27 year old –sometime workaholic- Hostel Manager who was floating through the motions that life presented; life was good… BUT I was contradicting my own easily dispensed advice of making your moments count. Thus, some weeks prior to turning 27, I decided to dedicate my 28th year to being the best person I could be- a ‘Year of Good’. 1 year dedicated to not only contributing more to the community, but to myself as well; volunteer more, teach, and do all the things that I have been saving for ‘tomorrow’.

During the planning stages of my ‘Year of Good’ I made a decision to do something big… something that could change lives- including mine. Fast forward one week and I’m on a bike training to ride 3000km from Cairns to Sydney via Bourke NSW for charity. And that is howBIKE YOU MEAN IT (as in, ‘like you mean it’) was born.

The Mission:Raise much needed funds and awareness for 4 different charities. Why 4 charities? Why help 1 cause when we can help four?! This also helps to ensure that the original message of ‘live life… like you meant it’ doesn’t get lost in the equally important messages of the 4 amazing charities.

The Mission- Part 2:Spread the message of living every single minute of your life like you mean it. Be the best person you can be. Do something big, do something little, something that makes you proud.
