I discovered I was a foodie in my early 20's when I made stuffed quail in a tiny college apartment with my roommates. There was something wrong with me ^_^. I love everything about baking, cooking, and eating!

in 2012, my daughter Taylor died. She was a stillborn at 35 weeks gestational for reasons unknown. Her death broke my heart in a million pieces and I've been trying to learn to put each of those little pieces back together again.

Taylor taught me every day is a gift and I'm learning to embrace every minute of life. Esp. through my craft, baking.
