Christophe Soares

My name is Christophe Soares, and I had a Degree in Computer Science from University Fernando Pessoa located in Porto, Portugal. When I completed my Degree, I start a traineeship at the IT Center in University Fernando Pessoa.
After a while, in 2007, I begin a Master in Mobile Computing (MSc) at the same time I was working at People’s Phone, a telecommunications company as an IT staff member.
When I conclude my MSc, in 2009, I have been invited to start giving lectures as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at University Fernando Pessoa, Portugal. I teach different disciplines, as computer security, operating systems concepts, web-development languages and operation research topics.
Currently, I am a researcher at INESC Tec (Porto) and ISUS @ UFP, and I'm working on my Ph.D. Thesis. My research interests are Ubicomp and Pervasive systems used in Ambient Assisted Living, mainly regarding a safe integration of different Commercial Off the shelf Ubicomp systems (model, identification and resolution of behavior interferences between COTS Ubicomp systems).
