QUALIFICATIONS: MBA (Bond University), Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Economics) UNISA, Registered Persons exams, ACI Dealing Certificate, Assessor & Moderator under the SAQA Framework.

Introduction

I am an experienced presenter of training courses, in particular finance courses. I also lecture part-time on a master's program for UJ. Audiences have ranged from the board of a small bank, audit partners to support staff. I have also presented courses from Cape to Cairo. Courses have been in – house and public, some are modelled on the syllabi of international qualifications, others custom designed on request.

Courses have been presented under the auspices of my company, College of Knowledge cc, as well as various other training providers. I also undertake various consulting services.

International Qualifications

These are qualifications that candidates write the exams at a computer exam center, they qualifications are awarded by an international body.

I have designed and presented a 5 day workshop which prepares candidates to write the PRMIA Associate certificate.

As my role as education officer representing Africa & the Middle East on ACI's Board of Education I organized 5 day workshops that covered the ACI Dealing Certificate syllabus. From 2003 I have been doing this in conjunction with Full Value Financial Services. With FVFS I also present material on the ACI Operations Certificate.

In- House Courses

I have designed and presented numerous courses for various companies, these include a series of presentations to a board of directors covering risk management, financial markets and their responsibilities as laid out in Basel II.

I have run in house workshops for PRMIA and ACI in several banks including ACI dealing certificate for the SARB.

Other in house customized courses include areas involving Time Value of Money, Foreign Exchange, Money and Capital Markets, ALM, Risk Management, Derivatives, Understanding Economic Indicators, Yield Curves and Selling Skills for Treasury staff.

Public Courses

I have presented numerous public courses for the Beaufort Institute, BRIT Training, FVFS, IQPC, Marcus Evans, and Strategic Executive Programs.

I also assisted in running the finals of the Online Bank Management Competition arranged by SimArch in Singapore.
