My journey includes working the graveyard shift at a residential rehab, Sheriff's Search & Rescue, 911 Emergency/Medical/Fire operations, a solo unsupported thru-hike of the entire Appalachian Trail, over the road trucking, hiking from Mexico to Canada via the Pacific Crest Trail, hydroseeding/construction, and bikepacking across North America with theGreen Riders: Good Deeds on Bikes.
The Appalachian Trail was my choice for a self prescribed rite of passage. I don't think I ever really got off that path. Even though that trail ended at Mount Katahdin, I recognized there will always be more mountains to climb.
Currently I reside in Los Angeles working at a start-up and am also a Surrogate Partner intern for IPSA.
